Heyy, I’m Melissa! 

I started my hair extension journey over a year ago after completing a 6-method course. This taught me the very BASICS but, the real lessons came with lots of practise on my supportive friends and family who I’ve been so lucky to have! <3 

 I immediately fell in love with EVERYTHING about tapes and after trying them myself, I ditched my original plan to offer other methods and decided to put my all into mastering the techniques of the most lightweight, non-damaging and discreet hair extension method out there!

Since then I've consulted, installed, styled and regularly refit tape in extensions for all different hair types, wanting different results, in my cosy Quayside flat. 🏡

I LOVE knowing what I do fills my girls with happiness and a confidence they deserve!! I'll continue to grow and strive for perfection to give you the most natural, seamless, results, always.

Hair Extensions by MY (for those that didn't know, the MY in the name are actually my initials, how fitting!) is about having hair extensions that look and feel natural, by using the most seamless tape ins, to give you gorgeous results, now & always.

Everyone deserves to feel confident. I want my girls to be their authentic selves, not to hide behind the extensions but to flourish with them! Good hair = good energy ✨ 

There's thought behind everything I do, from the strategic placement of tapes to the suppliers I choose (the slight rhyme was unintentional though!). 

So much so, that behind every #TapeInTransformation, a tree is planted as part of my supplier's continuous journey to become the most environmentally conscious & responsible hair extensions brand out there! 🌎
